A Tribute to:

Occultfest 2017 hadden we tot een eerbetoon aan 3 iconische bands gebombardeerd. Helaas hebben wij dit idee blijkbaar onvoldoende gepromoot richting bands, vrijwilligers en bezoekers.

Geen mainstream Festival

Het promoten van alternatieve muziek is altijd ons doel is geweest en zal dit ook altijd blijven. Op Occultfest krijgt aankomend talent de voorkeur boven bands waar commerciële belangen de overhand voeren. Maar zonder enthousiast publiek geen festival. Wij krijgen regelmatig de opmerking dat men geen van de bands kent. Nog meer reden om kennis te maken denken wij dan.

Sabatical

In 2018 konden we helaas onvoldoende tijd vrijmaken om een Occultfest neer te zetten zoals wij voor ogen hadden. Ondertussen aangekomen in 2019 zijn we tot de conclusie gekomen dat we er gewoon weer een mooi feest van gaan maken. We zijn in overleg met een jongeren organisatie om de vrijdag avond in te vullen. Er komt weer een camping en na middernacht gaan we beide nachten als vanouds verder feesten rond de vuurton.

Voor en door liefhebbers.

Dit jaar 15 bands waarvan mogelijk 1 of 2 als surprise act. Omdat we geen tijd hebben voor bands, vrijwilligers en bezoekers met meer wensen dan creativiteit geven we het idee uit 2017 een tweede kans. Tevens bestaat er voor de liefhebbers van jouw band of Occultfest in het algemeen de mogelijkheid om donateur te worden van Occultfest 2019. Dit kan al vanaf 6,66 euro p.p. Je hebt dan naast gratis entree en overige voordelen ook een stem in de programmering. Wees er snel bij want als we de eerste 666 euro bij elkaar hebben evalueren we de minimum prijs van 6,66 euro p.p

Vrijwillig is niet vrijblijvend

Hierbij vragen we elke geïnteresseerde band op te geven welke 3 covers zij graag uit onderstaande lijst willen spelen. Word de band geprogrammeerd dan overleggen we welke 1,2 of mogelijk zelfs 3 van de opgegeven covers definitief word gespeeld. Meld het ons als je een favoriet nummer mist.
